Map

Izalkain is a northern continent of Haiverheim with mostly hilly terrain. Izalkain stretches from west to east, the highest point is the Fang of the Wind peak, located in a mountain range in the northwest, the lowest is the Frosty Grove quarry, west from the center of the continent. The quarry stretches along the Revak’Strun Mountains, separating the tundra and the mountain taiga of Nirkest. Izalkain is a cold, mostly snowy continent. Summers here are short, with frequent night frosts, and winters are harsh and frosty, only the southwestern part of the continent is warmer than the rest: the difference between the seasons is less noticeable. Most of the time, Izalkain is covered with snow and frost, which is why it is also called the Land of Eternal Snows.
The territory of the Izalkanian Empire is taking the whole continent, its capital is Hollowspire.

Astrid Firedottir

Astrid Firedottir

Gender: female
Age: 29
Species: human

For a year, she wandered around Izalkain, until she was captured and imprisoned in a remote dungeon for female magicians - the Frost Citadel. Despite the bitter cold and the complete suppression of magic, she studied the false runic patterns, created a spell she called "arson", and razed the Citadel to the ground seven years after her imprisonment. Until the age of 26, she was a bandit who terrorized the southern possessions of Izalkain, became famous as the Arson Queen and the Rogue Queen, and overthrew the power of the Iceheart bloodline in Hifengard, taking the place of jarl. She has been ruling the city and the surrounding areas for three years now.

Disery the Faceless
Disery the Faceless

Disery

Gender: male
Age: 25
Species: shapeshifter
Bio: Weak, faceless, dark creatures. This is how defective, "cursed" shapeshifters are born. This is how Disery was born. This rare, but not mythical phenomenon is called the "curse of the Shadow," because it is precisely the three-dimensional shadow that the unfortunate man looks like. The story of Disery's life is even more meager than his magical stock. So he was born, and his mother refused him, not ready to raise a seventh child, who was also so poor and infirm. Here he is picked up from the orphanage at ten by a traveling merchant from a caravan, and Disney meets another one of the same "cursed". This new friend teaches the boy everything he knows, but even for a Faceless One, he has too little magic that can be used in one spell. Having grown up in such conditions, in such a company, upon reaching the age of seventeen, Disery decides to separate from the caravan and embark on his own journey. It seems that if a song had been composed from his biography over the course of twenty-five years of his life, the whole story would hardly have been enough for one verse.
